War thunder modern tanks turret tank10/4/2023 ![]() ![]() If you see a Char B1 roll by, hide and pray for the best. #10 Char B1 Bis (Best for medium to long-range engagements)Ī Char B1 on its way to penetrate your precious Kruppstahl. ![]() This guide is completely updated for 2021, so if you’re looking for something up to date, check this one out! ![]() We will look not only at top-tier tanks, but will take into consideration all those armored vehicles that shine in their particular rank and at least 1 tank from each nation is included. ![]() In this article we will outline the top 10 most powerful, maybe overpowered, ground vehicles in War Thunder. Of course, it’s not just tanks that War Thunder deals with, but also anti-air vehicles, self-propelled guns, tank destroyers and armored cars, and those are just the main categories.Īcross all nations present in the game, we can find some very, very powerful tanks that are very hard to even damage, yet alone destroy. With over 300 tanks to work with, War Thunder does not lack ground vehicles. Some of them are bound to be much more powerful than others, even if they are in the same rank. Though for some odd reason, a select few Soviet tanks have a working rear turret MG that can't even move.Oh my, this list is going to be controversial. In the entire German, British, and Soviet trees, very few tanks have working hull coax MG's (again, asside from a few SPG's). The few that do are in Japanese tanks (as most lack a coax MG) and some SPG's like the Marders. Very few hull guns actually work in-game. And I'm almost certain they all work just fine (assuming the guy is still alive that is). Panzer IIIs and Panzer IVs, both also use a coaxial gun in the turret as well as a hull mounted one used by the guy sitting next to the driver. 50 (though I'm pretty sure low tier US tanks use a roof mounted. They also have a coaxial aligned with the main gun as well as the roof mounted. Nearly every US tank (not including TDs, SPAA) has a hull MG facing forward that is operated by the radio operator that sits next to the driver.
